Dear Jack,
On Sunday, May 29th, 2011, a good portion of our house flooded due to a faulty plumbing part. This was not how our family planned on spending the holiday weekend. We woke up to a complete disaster. As long-time homeowners we have never experienced a problem like this so I am sure you understand the devastation we felt. We found IDL on the internet and called to explain our current situation. We were worried about finding a service provider not only because it was the weekend, but also because Monday was a holiday. IDL came through for us as if it was just any other day. Someone was scheduled to come out on Monday and we were charged the normal service fee.
The first crew arrived promptly on Monday and explained each process thoroughly and completed each task efficiently. Throughout the entire process each individual including Chris, Camm, Danny, Charles, Dan and James for the cabinetry. Last, but most important, were Steve and Jeff from the restoration crew. These gentlemen who performed most of the work were very punctual, professional, and courteous at all times. Each process was explained before a task was started. As a task was started they asked me to take a look to make sure it met my expectations before they continued. What was also very nice was at the end of each day both of these gentlemen would clean up the work area leaving it very tidy. We were mighty pleased with the final results and made sure to communicate how we felt to Steve and Jeff. It is very clear that a successful project timeline was created, implemented, and supervised very well by Dan. The role that each individual had responsibility for was very clear.
As a manager in the service industry for 20+ years I know how important a pat on the back can be. Recognition is so important for the moral of every employee. We would appreciate it very much if you could notify your staff members that we took the time to capture their outstanding work in a letter so that they are recognized.
In closing, we are very grateful for everything and thank you very much for a job well done! IDL performs exceptional, quality work and has our highest recommendation.
